Rose calendars new logo and branding

This work was produced between 2008 – 2021 while I was employed at Rose Calendars.
Rose Calendars are the UK’s leading manufacturer of promotional business calendars. The business is dedicated to producing calendars of the highest quality in a range of formats suitable for any business to use as a promotional tool.
The existing logo looked dated and was overly complex to use; a new design was needed with a fresh modern look and strong personality. The new design had to work on photographic calendar covers, as well as a variety of print and digital media from website and marketing collateral to delivery boxes.
The logo mark was drawn with Adobe Illustrator and then gradually simplified and abstracted creating the new design. A new typeface, ITC Legacy Sans was sourced, having a modern aesthetic, good legibility and a large family.
